Ninive, its designer, tells us about the creation: Liz is the result of a travel through 3 continents. I started drawing it in the flight from Frankfurt to Montreal. It was a long, productive journey – one can see that by looking at the dress and its endless details, which were drawn by a felt tip in the first sketch. I carried on working on the sketch as we were flying over the North Pole and, while all my fellow passengers were asleep, I could see, from the plane window, cornets made of clouds, hurricanes in the air that whirled about the plane… In that moment, I was struck by inspiration. By the time we arrived in Hong Kong, the sketch was almost finished.
